Mapfre targets China province Shandong for motor digital venture
Spanish insurer Mapfre is targeting a full 2017 launch for an online motor insurance operation in the province of Shandong, China.
Known as the 'Muralla project', Mapfre has been setting up operations in China for over 18 months and has applied for regulatory approval from the Chinese Insurance Regulatory Commission.
