Fraud 2014: Met insists fraud still on agenda despite Catcher demise

The head of the Metropolitan Police team charged with tackling crash-for-cash fraud has reassured insurers it will continue to take on investigations, despite falling victim to cost-saving measures within the force.

DI Dave Hindmarsh (pictured) told Fraud 2014 attendees last week that Operation Catcher, established in 2011, would cease to exist in its previous form from 10 November.
