Dozens killed as quake strikes southwest China

At least 43 people were killed and 150 injured after a magnitude 5.7 earthquake struck southwest China's Yunnan and Guizhou provinces on Friday, according to China Daily.

More than 100,000 people had been evacuated in Yunnan by 3:10pm local time, an official with the province's civil affairs department told the news service.
