RSA expects £35m hit from Italian quakes

RSA expects a net loss of £35m from the two earthquakes in Italy's Emilia-Romagna region in May, the general insurer said today.

RSA also issued loss estimates from flooding in the UK following the wettest June on record.

It anticipates a net loss of around £40m across its household, motor and commercial property portfolios
