6.7 magnitude quake hits Philippines

A 6.7 magnitude earthquake struck the central Philippines yesterday, killing at least 40 people and causing damage to property in the region.

According to catastrophe firm AIR Worldwide the quake struck in the strait between the heavily populated island provinces of Negros and Cebu.
