Mapfre lands Spanish satellite deal

Mapfre Global Risks has been appointed as the leading insurer for the Spanish satellite of the communications operator HISPASAT, H1E.

The satellite, which was launched last week, is insured by the Spanish underwriter for the launch phase as well as its first year in orbit.
